Book Reader Problems Tag

Alright, it’s time for another book tag, this time, it’s reader problems edition! Let’s get started!

You have 20,000 books in your TBR, how in the world do you decide what to read next?

Usually, I read whatever I need to review first. Also, if I have something out from the library then I obviously do that since there is a due date for it, but other than that, it’s whichever book I’m in the mood for!

You’re halfway through a book and you’re just not loving it. Do you put it down or are you committed?

First of all, I hate this, but I can’t not finish a book. It’s annoying, but I always have to finish the story. Besides, for all I know, the book could get better!

The end of the year is coming and you’re behind on your reading challenge, do you try to catch up? And if so, how?

Lots and lots of standalone books. I always seem to get through these books faster because I know I don’t have to remember everything since there isn’t another book, and it’s also a lot easier to just fall into the rhythm of an easy romance standalone.

The covers of a series you love do not match, how do you cope?

I don’t really. I get mad, but I still read the book. It’s the story that counts!

Everyone and their mother loves a book that you do not. Who do you bond with over your shared feelings?

Probably my best friend. She usually gets huge paragraphs about how much I hate a certain book when it happens.

You’re reading a book in public and you’re about to start crying. How do you deal?

It takes a lot to make me cry, and I usually don’t read a ton in public, but I would probably try to hide it somehow!

The sequel to a book you loved just came out but you’ve forgotten a lot of what happens. Are you going to reread it?

Absolutely. You get the entire experience when you read them together, so yes, I will reread it.

You do not want anyone to borrow your books, how do you politely say no when someone asks?

I’d probably just tell them that nobody is allowed to borrow my books. I’ve had bad experiences with that, and I’ve learned my lesson now.

You have picked up and put down 5 books in the last month. How do you get over this reading slump?

A good romance standalone. Or Wattpad. Either way, I’ll be back to reading in no time!

There are so many books coming out that you are dying to read, how many do you end up buying?

Well, I recently got a kindle so lucky for me, a lot of the books are actually cheaper. I’d probably end up buying all of them anyway though!

After you purchase all of these books that you’re dying to read how long do they sit on your shelves before you get to them?

I’m not ashamed to say…a while. Depending on if they’re part of a series or not though. If they’re a new book from a series that I’ve already read the past books for, I’ll probably end up reading that first. But otherwise..a while.
