This Sunday, my choice of reading material while I chill in bed is, of course, As Good As Dead by Holly Jackson.
Ah February, the ultimate romantic month and the perfect month for reading as many romance books as possible.
Liz & Wes… my recent obsession this Sunday!
Welcome to Trope Tuesday’s with Mayas Bookshelves. This will be a themed post every Tuesday that dives into a chosen trope to explain what it is, how it happens, and some recommendations from me (or any I find online)!
A HUGE thank you to netgalley and Kate’s team for providing me with an ARC of this book in exchange for a free review! I loved this cute little christmas romance!
Little bit of an older review, but a quick and easy holiday read!!
Recently I’ve been reading and watching a lot of shows with inspirational women and women in power and I have to say, I love it. I feel so genuinely empowered as a woman, especially with my heritage represented too. There are so many female characters that are just so real and raw, and their feelings represent mine and inspire me to do my best too. I love reading books or watching shows that leave me thinking about them for weeks after, and a lot of these characters had me in a chokehold while I was with them.
After seeing this book recommended so many times on booktok, I ran to kindle unlimited and downloaded it. This short read had me hooked and the tension kept me on my toes the entire time!
This book just radiates positive and summer vibes and that’s exactly what it gave me. The entire story made me feel genuinely happy and I loved getting to know these characters and their crazy past.
SOOOO obsessed with this book! loved my first Lily Gold romance! A must-read for any reverse-harem romance romcom lovers!!
