This was such an exciting edition of Steele’s Serpent’s Tale series. I was so ready to launch into another one of Steele’s tales and she did not let me down!
Once again, I want to give a huge thanks to S.H. Steele for providing me with a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review!
Plot
After Clark helps the Doctor and Jane escape from his house, they’re on the run to a bunker where the doctor keeps his insane experiments. The Doctor explains that his son is not only half bear, half-human, but he has a mix of other supernatural powers, making him the ultimate weapon when it comes to war.
Arthur is pulling out all the strings to get to his father, but Clark and Jane will stop at nothing to save him and get the situation under control. Can they battle against Arthur’s insane superpowers, or will the bear get the better of them?
Characters
I’ve really grown to love Clark and his amazingly sarcastic and witty personality. He’s such an interesting character that makes me really want to read the book and learn more about him. His past is still somewhat of a mystery despite him mentioning it every so often. I hope that we really get to explore what happened with him in the next book.
I really like Jane! She’s one of those characters that seems super reliable and I like how she’s learning to like Clark and get along with him.
Writing
As always, I was captured immediately by the fast-paced writing style of S.H. Steele. I was launched into the story by the first line and couldn’t put it down!
In Conclusion…
I cant wait to see how the series ends and how Clark will save the day!
