Sundays in Bed With… King of Patriam: Outlaws

If you’ve seen my previous posts about The Dome series, you’d know that I think this is one of my favorite series of all time. Not only are we graced with a beautiful setting in a fantasy world, but the plot is decently good, the romance is phenomenal and the writing is so easy to get through.

This Sunday, I am stuck cramming for final exams (unfortunately, I have 8), but I know that I’ll most likely be staying up all night to finish the final four hours of this incredible trilogy. I’m honestly really sad that the trilogy is coming to an end and I’m going to have to say goodbye to a world that I’ve fallen completely in love with and characters that feel like my best friends. That might be the reason that I’ve put off finishing King of Patriam for so long, but I think this is going to be one of those trilogies that I reread every year and never get sick of. These characters, this world, the romance, it’s all top notch and building up to something huge and I don’t want to say goodbye!

All that she had to do to keep her mind on track was think of him walking out of the forest, victorious. The King of Patriam.

My Sunday will be spent with Cassian and Salem, and vlogmas youtube videos, hot chocolate, fuzzy socks, and my psych textbook next to me. It’s one of those times of the year where all I want to do is cuddle up in bed and put on a Christmas movie, ignoring all of my responsibilities and doing nothing but resting and warming up my cold toes.

To bring this point home, I’m doing my annual rewatch of the BBC Sherlock series and it can never ever get old. I’ll never be tired of hearing “the game is ON, John!” or watching Sherlock’s face as he realizes the smallest detail is the most important in a case. It’s one of those shows that you just have to watch when the weather gets below 5°C just for the vibes of the dark academia and the smell of the books wafting out of their apartment.

Anyways, that’s it from me today! Happy December lovely bookworms!
