This was the perfect ending to this insane series. I honestly couldn’t put this book down, just like all of the other ones in this series.
Plot
After the crazy cliffhanger from the last book (Gold Lotus), Mai and her family must save themselves from the clutches of the hunters.
Will Mai and her werewolf get the happily-ever-after that they deserve or will it all go up in Blue Flames?
Characters
As usual, I loved Mai’s character. She was relatable, funny, and kind. She’s exactly the kind of main character I needed from this series.
Max was also an incredible character who was so easy to get along with. His unwavering love for Mai was adorable and I love how their relationship went through the end of the book.
Setting
The magical Den was the setting for the book and I think it’s an incredible setting. While it might not look like much, it helps people in need and I think that’s important. It’s a beautiful place filled with warm welcomes to anybody who comes by.
Writing
Steele once again had me hooked by the writing. If I’m being honest, I finished this entire series in about a day. It was quick and easy and straight to the point and I loved following each of these characters as my emotions grew for them by each book.
In Conclusion…
I loved this series. It was the perfect ending to the insane and magical series and I couldn’t like it better.
