I want to start with a huge thank you to Eden Larsen and her team for providing me with a copy of her calendar romance series in exchange for an honest review. I’m absolutely adoring this series and getting to know each of these characters and how they connect with one another, so thank you!
May Flowers is the fifth book in the Calendar Romance series by Eden Larsen and it brings us into a world of love and the difficulties that come with it.
Plot
Aria Garcia is a fifth-grade teacher who received a bouquet of beautiful flowers almost every day. The culprit? Damian Rossi.
Aria and Damian are dating, but secretly. Aria is adamant that her private life must stay… well, private, however, Damian desperately wants to take their relationship to the next level and introduce her to his family.
Can Aria decide whether her feelings for Damian are worth the risk of her family knowing? Or will she throw it all away for a little privacy?
Characters
I’ve often struggled with Larsen’s characters because they’re sometimes flat and don’t have enough personality, however, the characters in this book were completely and utterly interesting. I loved learning about Aria and what she likes/dislikes in a person and why her past creates complications in her relationships.
Writing
Larsen’s writing was quick and to the point, capturing me entirely. I finished the book in about thirty minutes and really enjoyed getting to know each character.
In Conclusion…
This was such a fun and quick read! I can’t wait to see what Larsen has in store for me in the next Calendar Romance!
