Since it’s now February, I figured I’d share with you my list for this month! I was able to finish ten books last month and all of them I quite enjoyed so I’m excited to continue some of those series, read some new books and reread some of my favorites!
On the top of my TBR for February is The Chronicles of Merkadiah: The Rise of the Gryphon by Edgar Lewis.
I’m currently halfway through this book and I’m super excited to give you guys my review for it. It’s such an interesting story and it’s honestly like nothing I’ve read before. I wouldn’t say it’s my top favorite, but it’s definitely a good read and I like how the chapters are quite short too. I’ll update with my review once I’ve finished it!
The second book on my TBR for this month is Helix by Mary Ting.
This is the second book in the ISAN series that I’m currently devouring. I can’t believe I have never read this series before. Based on the first book, I can say that this series is severely underrated and deserves a lot more hype. I’m excited to see where the next books take me in this series!
My third book on my TBR is Great Expectations by Charles Dickens.
This is a book I’m going to buddy reading with someone and I’m quite excited for it. I’ve never been very good with classics because the writing style is often too slow for me, but I’m going to give it a shot and see how it goes!
Fourth on my TBR is a reread of A Curse so Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer.
When I first read this book, I finished it in less than a day and absolutely adored the characters and the story. Unfortunately, I read this book and the sequel wayyy before A Vow so Bold and Deadly was released (January 26th). So, I’m going to reread both the first and second books in this series and finally read the third installment which I’m super excited for since I loved the series so far! I’m so excited to see how the story ends.
Finally, I’m going to reread the A Court of Thorns and Roses series.
This reread will be in preparation for A Court of Silver Flames, which is releasing on February 16th (I believe). I’m super excited for this reread since I only read the series once before and I’d like to read it with a lot more attention to the details that I didn’t have before. I’m excited to see Feyre and Rhysand develop in a new way so it’s going to be a lot of fun to do this reread! And I’m soooo ready for A Court of Silver Flames because Cassian. Just Cassian, that’s it.
And that’s it! I’m hoping to get through all of those books, although it’s quite a lot so I probably won’t finish all of them! Also, I might stray from this list, but we’ll see how it goes!
