Mini-Review
I want to start by thanking the author and their publishing team for reaching out to me. I loved getting a look into this world and I’m so grateful that I’m able to provide an honest review in exchange for a free copy of this book. Thank you!

Crowns of Croswald was such an interesting book to read about. The magic system and world-building were really cool to see and I enjoyed getting to know the characters. I have to admit that I was quite confused at the beginning because nothing was explained very well, however, I managed to figure out the world-building and a bit of how it works by the middle of the book.
This story was super similar to the Harry Potter series as it was a coming-of-age, middle-grade book. The chosen one trope was also evident and it was cool to see that both characters escaped a life that they hated and moved towards magic as a savior.
That being said, it’s a story that Potter fans would love. The magic system, creatures, and other aspects of the book added to the story in a way that created a better and more detailed plot, giving the main character more to do than to just be a chosen one.
The book also gave me major nostalgic vibes, bringing me into a welcoming world that sort of felt like home. Maybe it was the magic within it or the author’s friendly writing style but it made me happy to read the book and even more excited for every chapter.
