I absolutely loved this book by Kiera Cass. It is extremely underrated and it is the perfect forbidden romance story.
The Betrothed – Kiera Cass
My expectations were set super high because of Kiera Cass’s previous posts, however, I found myself incredibly let down and disappointed by this book. The setting, characters, plot and writing were not at all well done and I expected a lot more from Kiera Cass as an established, best-selling author.
The Red Queen Series – Victoria Aveyard
I absolutely love the red queen series by Victoria Aveyard. It is everything I had wanted in a dystopian fantasy and while the complex history of the world of red vs. silver should have been hard to follow, it was so easy and simple to get into and was such a fun read!
Sky In The Deep – Adrienne Young
I started this book as my June book of the month for a book club I recently joined. I really thought I was going to struggle to get through it, but as soon as it began I could not put it down and just had to keep reading. I have to say, I was wary at first because I’m not usually into books with clans or warriors, however, I really did enjoy it and I wish there was a sequel that surrounded the same characters.
A Court of Thorns and Roses – Sarah J. Maas
I absolutely loved this book and can honestly say that it lived up to its reputation. The character development was really well-written, along with the settings and the plot. I really enjoyed this book.
