I came for the dark mafia romance and stayed for the found family dynamics. While the romance lacked the tension and yearning I was hoping for, the MMC’s relationship with his son stole the show. Fast-paced and bingeable, but not quite the intense, chemistry-filled read I was expecting.
I’m so obsessed with this series. Believe Me was the perfect addition to the goodbye from these beautiful characters and the story that Tahereh Mafi has created in the Shatter Me universe.

Recently I’ve been reading and watching a lot of shows with inspirational women and women in power and I have to say, I love it. I feel so genuinely empowered as a woman, especially with my heritage represented too. There are so many female characters that are just so real and raw, and their feelings represent mine and inspire me to do my best too. I love reading books or watching shows that leave me thinking about them for weeks after, and a lot of these characters had me in a chokehold while I was with them.
This fast-paced and intense read will have you on the edge of your seat for the entire story! See how Roma and Juliette’s romance ends in this duology finale!
