With my first year of uni finally coming to an end, I’m going to be launching myself into some of my favourite summer reads and some books that I feel will give me major summer vibes!
SUCH a fun read. Absolutely loved this mix of magick, tension, romance and action.
The Horizon was AMAZING. I can’t get over this series. I’m sitting here at 2am bawling my eyes out over this ending and believe me when I tell you I’ll be rereading this asap.
After binge-reading the Unveiling in a few hours, I knew that I had to read the Parting immediately. Erin continued to blow me away with her incredible writing style and I found myself coming back for more after every chapter.
Die With Zero definitely isn’t my usual type of read. I’m generally a fiction reader, so this was a change of pace for me and I found it a little more difficult to get into. Since this is a non-fiction/self-help type of book, I won’t be reviewing in my usual categories of setting, characters, and plot. Instead, I’ll be reviewing based on what this book has shown me and how it has benefitted me for the future.
Crowns of Croswald was such an interesting book to read about. The magic system and world-building were really cool to see and I enjoyed getting to know the characters. I have to admit that I was quite confused at the beginning because nothing was explained very well, however, I managed to figure out the world-building and a bit of how it works by the middle of the book.
