The Crowns of Croswald – D.E. Night

Crowns of Croswald was such an interesting book to read about. The magic system and world-building were really cool to see and I enjoyed getting to know the characters. I have to admit that I was quite confused at the beginning because nothing was explained very well, however, I managed to figure out the world-building and a bit of how it works by the middle of the book.

Rose Red – Stephanie Van Orman

As someone who isn’t super into sci-fi, I was a little worried about this read and how I would enjoy it. The synopsis sounded like my cup of tea, and I was pleased to see that it actually was while I was reading the book.

The Book That Started It All

This tag is something I’ve been wanting to do for quite a while. Let’s talk about my reading journey and the book that started it all!

Villains I’d Join to Conquer The World

I think everyone knows that as book readers, villains play some of the most important roles in our favorite stories. This is especially true in fantasy novels and I usually find myself loving certain qualities of a villain and how they decide to rule the world. So let’s talk about the villains that I’d conquer the world with!

Ninth House – Leigh Bardugo

Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo was a complete rollercoaster. I have to admit that I didn’t know what to expect going into this book, however, Bardugo’s Grishaverse had me hooked so I did expect myself to enjoy this one as well.

My Favorite Writing Tips: From a Beginner to a Beginner

As someone who has always loved reading and writing, I figured it was time for me to take my ideas and make them into something real. Writing has always been a form of escape for me. Creating characters and fictional worlds that I can get completely lost in is something that I love doing, and since I’m a beginner, I figured I’d share the tips that got me started!

The Alchemist – Paul Coelho

The alchemist is such an inspirational novel through the messages it reveals. It teaches countless life lessons and I believe that it should be a book that everyone reads at least once in their lifetime.

Sky In The Deep – Adrienne Young

I started this book as my June book of the month for a book club I recently joined. I really thought I was going to struggle to get through it, but as soon as it began I could not put it down and just had to keep reading. I have to say, I was wary at first because I’m not usually into books with clans or warriors, however, I really did enjoy it and I wish there was a sequel that surrounded the same characters.
