Fictional Characters That Remind Me of Myself
Recently I’ve been reading and watching a lot of shows with inspirational women and women in power and I have to say, I love it. I feel so genuinely empowered as a woman, especially with my heritage represented too. There are so many female characters that are just so real and raw, and their feelings represent mine and inspire me to do my best too. I love reading books or watching shows that leave me thinking about them for weeks after, and a lot of these characters had me in a chokehold while I was with them.
The Love Hypothesis – Ali Hazelwood
I loved this book! I literally read this in one sitting and don’t regret a single thing. The Love Hypothesis TOTALLY lives up to the hype!!!
Cautious and Conditional – Erin Mc Luckie Moya
This book. I’m blown away. Honestly, Erin never fails to surprise me. Her writing is growing better with each story I read and when I tell you guys I read this in like a day, I’m serious!!
The Empress – Erin Mc Luckie Moya
SUCH a fun read. Absolutely loved this mix of magick, tension, romance and action.
The Horizon – Erin Mc Luckie Moya
The Horizon was AMAZING. I can’t get over this series. I’m sitting here at 2am bawling my eyes out over this ending and believe me when I tell you I’ll be rereading this asap.
Lavishly Lawless – Erin Mc Luckie Moya
Absolutely devoured this addition to the Hell Hounds MC series!! Can’t wait to read the next one!
Die With Zero – Bill Perkins
Die With Zero definitely isn’t my usual type of read. I’m generally a fiction reader, so this was a change of pace for me and I found it a little more difficult to get into. Since this is a non-fiction/self-help type of book, I won’t be reviewing in my usual categories of setting, characters, and plot. Instead, I’ll be reviewing based on what this book has shown me and how it has benefitted me for the future.
