Handle Me – Octavia Jensen

The Stag Brothers will forever and always have my heart. This series has made me laugh and cry and heal. It was such a beautiful representation of how a family should love each other, unconditionally. It was heartbreaking and wholesome and everything all at once.

Knives And Knuckledusters – Erin Mc Luckie Moya

If you’ve been following along with my reviews, tweets or anything about my reading, you know that I’ve been obsessed with Erin and her writing since she came out with Catching Cole, and the Veil trilogy. Knives and Knuckledusters is the last book in the Hell Hounds MC series that I’ve been completely devouring with every new release and I can’t believe it’s over!

King of Scars – Leigh Bardugo

Going into this book, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. From the title, I’d gathered that the book revolved mostly around Nikolai Lantsov. We’d last left him in Ruin and Rising as becoming the king, and in Crooked Kingdom we saw Sturmhond come back to life with his small appearance, however, this was a completely new story with a character that I absolutely adore.

Ice Planet Barbarians – Ruby Dixon

Where do I even begin? I have so many thoughts about this book and its very… odd storyline. This book has been incredibly popular on booktok and bookstagram recently, and I figured I’d give it a go. I didn’t have super high expectations, especially after seeing a few reviews being pretty negative, however, I did go into the book with an open mind, which probably boosted my rating a little bit. Anyways, enjoy!

Trope Tuesdays – The Love Triangle

Welcome to Trope Tuesday’s with Mayas Bookshelves. This will be a themed post every Tuesday that dives into a chosen trope to explain what it is, how it happens, and some recommendations from me (or any I find online)!
